About Our Mission
Our mission is to provide access to organized soccer to children in the low income communities in El Salvador by providing a fully funded youth soccer academy. This academy was kick-started through crowd funding and donations of youth soccer gear by families in the United States. We also have a group of volunteer organizers and coaches from the community in El Salvador. The project has shown us that we are having an impact on both the children in El Salvador as well as the children in the US, by connecting the two sides through the beautiful game.

To date, we have over 135 boys and girls ages 5 to 15 in the academy in three different locations in Central America. Every Saturday and Sunday they receive training, coaching, and refreshments. We hold monthly parent meetings to maintain a strong partnership with the community we seek to serve.

Eligibility for the Academy is met under three conditions:
  1. Academic: All participants must maintain good attendance and academic standing at school. They must also provide quarterly progress reports signed by their teacher.

  2. Community: Each season, participants will draft and execute a community service project for the social benefit of their community.

  3. Attendance: Participants must maintain as close to perfect attendance as possible to all team practices, games, meetings, and events. Parents are to send notice of planned absences.
